CardiacCrash in action.
CardiacCrash is accessible to community organizations and individuals who want to lead sessions within their communities.
Time: A session is approximately an hour and is led by an in-house facilitator or paid instructor. In-house facilitators have access to an online training portal filled with support resources. The training takes approximately 90 minutes to complete including reviewing the film. Choose the CardiacCrash experience that works best for your audience!
Technology: A computer (recommended) or tablet with a connection to a projector or large screen.
Equipment: CPR equipment is required to practice – paid instructors will provide equipment. There is also the option to purchase a set of CPR Cubes. There are also many fun DIY options for you to use such as semi-deflated basketballs. To learn more, check out our: DIY Equipment Guide.
Space: A large enough space for 2 teams (up to 40 students) and CPR practice stations
Fundraise: Fundraise for your session! We’ll set up an event page where participants can raise funds to help support Heart & Stroke in the fight to save more lives.
“I would have been that person in a cardiac arrest scenario where I didn’t really know what to do, questioned myself. And with just 1 hour of my time, there’s no way that my body and my brain are going to forget that experience. I think it’s exceptional.”
