Cardiac arrest does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any age, often without warning.

CardiacCrash in Action

CardiacCrash is recommended for students in Grade 7 and above in elementary, middle, and high schools across Canada.

Time: A 45-minute session led by a volunteer facilitator (usually a teacher at the school), including a question-and-answer portion.

With our help, you can be trained in as little as 15-30 minutes. We're here to support you!

Technology: A computer (recommended) or tablet with a connection to a projector or large screen.

Equipment: CPR equipment is required to practice. There are many fun DIY options for you to use such as semi-deflated basketballs. To learn more, check out our: DIY Equipment Guide. There is also the option to purchase a set of CPR Cubes.

Space: A large enough space for 2 teams (up to 40 students) and CPR practice stations.

“At our school, the Resource teacher and PE teacher teamed up to facilitate the program, and it couldn’t have been easier! With the easy-to-follow training videos and resources, it practically runs itself with minimal management required. It’s a fantastic whole group activity that provides essential life skills. We highly recommend this spectacular program!”
